To get AffiliateGuerrilla to use PayPal's IPN (instant payment notification) system you need to take the following steps.

• Log in as ADMIN and go to "Manage Payment Settings"



• Click on PayPal and enter your primary PayPal email address. This must be the email address registered with PayPal that you have set as your primary address to receive money - the receiver_email passed to their IPN system - NB: It may be different from the "sales" email address. PayPal allows you to set up more than one address to receive money from.



• Enter your "sales" email addres. This is the email address that the customer is told they are paying money to. It may be the same as the receiver_email.



• Enter your IPN notification url. This must be http://www.yourdomain.com/store/paypal_ipn.asp where /store is the directory where you have uploaded your affiliate program files. The file paypal_ipn.asp handles the IPNs which are sent from PayPal when a payment is verified, pending or refused.



• Log into your PayPal account and ensure that IPN is turned on. Go to "My Account" > "Profile" > and click on "Instant Payment Notification Preferences". Ensure this is set to ON.



• In your PayPal account you can set your Payment receiving preferences. Go to My Account > Profile > and select "Payment Receiving Preferences". Make sure you are not blocking any payments unless you want to first approve your payments. The IPN is only sent to your affiliate software when the payment is approved.



• If you don't want to ask your customers for a shipping address you will need to edit the paypal.asp file and change the value of the line
