Manually entering Leads

The administrator can manually enter leads into the system by going to the Admin Control Panel and Clicking on "Add Lead". If you manually enter a lead you can set the status of the lead to be ENQUIRY, ORDER, QUOTE, CANCELLED or WON.

This allows you to use the program as a CRM (customer relationship management) tool.

You can also update the lead status and details from the Control Panel by going to the "View Leads" view. Then click on the "VIEW" link on the right of the Leads table and this will load the Details for that lead. This allows you to accept payment by other means (for example by cheque) and update your database manually. When the status is set to WON, the sale is recorded without going through the Payment Gateway and the commissions are allocated if there are any.
